Makeup Look: Minimalist Makeup

Sunday

Hello friends! This post was originally supposed to go up on Friday, but this week has been really hectic. I returned to the US on Monday, then got the mess I call my room tidied up, had a beach day with my friends, then went hiking, and so much was happening, I couldn’t find time to sit down and write this post. It was a good idea I had the other posts ready for posting on Monday and Wednesday though.

Today’s look is a minimalist makeup look cos in the summer, cos for me simple is best in the summer when it can get hot enough for your makeup to melt straight off your face

So one important thing I’d like to mention before starting off is that I did not do a great job with this look. I can tell that some of the bronzer on the side of my nose wasn’t blended properly and that the lip tint is patchy. But I’m still uploading this because I wanted this post to go up, even if it was a bit late.

I started off with my new A’Pieu Pure Block Natural Sun Cream SPF45 PA+++. I recently bought another one of these sun creams because I love it so much. It’s a very watery and light formula with plenty of sun protection that does not feel heavy on the face at all, which is the most important thing for me when it comes to sun cream for the face.

For this look, I used as few products as possible, so I skipped primer and even foundation. I applied concealer on a couple more parts than usual instead. I swiped my Revlon Photoready Concealer on my forehead, the sides of my nose, around my nose, my cheeks, under my eyes, and on my chin and then blended it out with a makeup sponge.

I set my face using my Tony Moly Aqua Aura Moist Pact in 02 Skin Beige and a fluffy brush.

I used my Jelly Pong Pong Cosmetics Bronzer Duo in Aruba for bronzer and blush. Then I used the bronzer portion to add some definition to my nose and the outer half of my eyes. I love this product cos it’s so versatile.

I used my Skinfood Choco Eyes Brown Eye Pencil in 03 to define my eyebrows, and I used my Tony Moly Lip Tint in Cherry Tint for a gradient lip.

And that’s it!

As I said before, this look is not the best one I have done, but I hopefully have better looks coming in the future (hopefully).

As usual, thank you for reading, and I appreciate every like, comment, and follow!

Yours Truly,
