I Visit: A Picnic and Geocaching

Hello friends!

During the short time that I had between classes ending and going back home, a few of my friends and I went on a picnic to a recreational area that had an amazing view. The weather was okay; it was sunny, but it got really windy at one point and it almost seemed like it was going to rain, but it skipped right past us.

We packed a somewhat clumsy picnic basket with sandwich fillings and condiments but no bread, and way too much watermelon. After a short meal, we went Geocaching. Geocaching is kind of a massive scavenger hunt; you download the Geocaching app and look for little treasures inside a case that other people have hid near your area. We bought a nice scented candle from a dollar store and put it in one of the boxes and brought back a couple treasures that are on the windowsill of the guys’ house now. It was like a nice short hike/walk in the woods.

We even took our friend’s dog along with us; he’s a sweetheart that doesn’t know what’s going on most of the time, but what he lacks in charisma he makes up in fluffiness.

I hope next time we go back we can spend a whole day there, but I’ll remember to take a picnic blanket so we can all take a nap on the grass.

Yours truly,

(Otherwise known as Hye Joon)
